12 hours is a long time between picks, but the issue is with overnight picks. If the person before me makes a pick at midnight, I likely won't know until the next morning. It will be at least 8 or 9 hours between picks on such occasions.

Yeah, the overnight picks are the tricky ones. If we have a 6 hour time limit and someone picks at midnight, I think it's unfair to expect the next guy to have to make his pick by 6 AM.

well you could designate official draft times 9am-10pm (whatever time zone you're in).
that way if i pick Monday @ 10pm the clock doesn't begin tolling until 9am the following day (ie the next GM has until Tues @ 2pm). if a pick is made during off-hours, fine but it doesn't have to be.
just a thought. if you're more comfortable with 12 that's cool.

I have received confirmation by "Gotlaid" on Dobber so he will be the 10th and final member. We really do have an all star group of guys. The draft should be kicking off tonight once he joins.

Oh man, Gotlaid is gonna be a great guy to compete with. Just not a fan of him living in Australia. Gonna be tougher to do a draft now with that time zone haha.

Once the 10th member registers on here, I'll get it up. I haven't put it in the random order generator yet.

so we keep everybody at the end of each season? The only way you lose players is if your bench is over 8. Your bench can exceed 8 during the season but every July 1, we have roster cuts to get it back down. If you are under 28, you do not get to pick up players for nothing. To pick someone up in free agency, you must always drop someone. You are allowed to drop prospects for free agents.

You can draft prospects if you want but you should probably just wait until the actual prospects draft (from the rulebook).
